The VISIONIX MW-50D’s wide-field eyepieces enable wide-field observation, even for spectacle wearers, ensuring that nothing goes unnoticed during clinical examinations. The angled design of the eyepieces, with an optional 15° tilt module, ensures comfortable viewing, reducing back and neck fatigue for optimum operator comfort.

The converging eyepiece tube with an 8° convergence angle facilitates image fusion, enabling more precise and natural observation of ocular structures. This feature enhances the operator’s ability to study details with greater precision.

The superior maneuverability of the MW 50D slit lamp is ensured by its new adjustment plate, enabling faster, more precise focus adjustment. Optimum illumination is provided by a LED light source, reproducing natural halogen-like colors while offering the advantages of LED technology in terms of autonomy, energy consumption and heat reduction.

Incorporating a 5-megapixel CMOS digital camera with wide dynamic range, the VISIONIX MW-50D offers faithful color reproduction and captures images at a high frame rate of 30 fps for smooth video. The MW File capture software features a user-friendly interface for an optimal user experience, adapted to widescreen displays, enabling real-time broadcasting and high-resolution video capture for sharp, detailed images.

  • An LED light source, whose wavelength is much closer to a halogen lamp, has been employed to give the slit lamp a bright, natural color. This eliminates the need for a filter to remove the common “bluish LED light” problem.
